Validating the Production Weekly Plan by Scheduling Simulation

Large Corporate and Small and Medium Enterprises are still going through deep innovation and re-engineering processes. Organisation should became leaner and more efficient. Even planning and scheduling should be integrated in order to yield feasible and robust plan in an automatic way by continuous planning, from forecasting to daily line load. We present a framework for weekly plan validation with respect to all the production constraints based on scheduling simulation and apply it in a real case involving the world-wide leader in Medication Delivery market.
